News Just In . . . Monk Not Quite as Hefty as We Thought

Just heard from Dada that the doctor's visit went extremely well. Monk weighed in at 30 lbs 8 oz (13.8 kg) and measured 34 1/4 inches. That's a lot lighter than the 34 lbs indicated by Grandma Ruth's scale the weekend before last, but it still places him squarely in the 99th percentile. He is a large boy!! And he is even cuter and more handsome than he is large--at least, that was the doctor's official assessment. But we knew that already.
